Located near the center part of the lake, Sodus is famous for its spring and early summer fishing for trophy class trout, and second-to-none with our offshore fishery for Chinook and Coho Salmon during the summer months.

During the fall season salmon move in to make their spawning run up the Genesee River in great numbers. Attracted by the colored water. Fish concentrate in a small area. Also phenomenal offshore lake trout fishery.
